"Physicians who really desire to see their patients really do better. Also were facing tremendous challenges that didn't really allow them to deliver on the promise of why they got into medicine in the first place, which was really to improve the lives of people. So when we saw those two problems, the physician and the challenges they face people and the challenges they face, we found ourselves at an intersection to say, well, what if all of that novice is in terms of our processes, our technology, the people that we engage and what we do, what if novice and all of its capability working with health systems and health plans broadly across the country? What if we could take one of the most impressive, pioneering physician organizations that really have committed themselves to the premise of health the way I described it, who deliver a completely different approach to how people are cared for? If we were to come together, could we scale this? Could we take it nationally around the country and really drive change in a way that truly moves the needle on the health of people individually and ultimately the health of people within a region? And ultimately, could we move this to actually being a catalyst for change of fixing this terrible problem we have in our society today, which is the cost of healthcare? And I hope that's related to it."
