Kristi Randall, VP of Operations for Artur Express

Hazelwood Missouri, April 2021Artur Express is a trucking company based in Hazelwood that employs over 700 drivers and provides services in 48 states. The company, which has been operating since 1998, is growing rapidly because they have invested in both technology and taking care of truck drivers.

“Artur Express is a nationwide transportation and logistics company where we really focus on our drivers,” Kristi Randall, Vice President of Operations said. “We take care of them by giving them everything they need to perform well for our customers.”

“There is a huge driver shortage in the transportation industry. There are simply not enough truck drivers in the country,” Randall said. “What sets Artur Express apart from every other trucking company in America is how we treat our drivers.”

“We call ourselves The Trucker’s Company because of how we treat our drivers,” Randall said. “That shows up in how we pay them, how we respect them, how we get them home, and how we take care of them when they are here.”

The company has invested significant resources in attracting and retaining drivers, including building a new state-of-the-art headquarters in North County that features a variety of amenities to take care of truckers.

“In April 2020 when the pandemic hit, we moved into our new world headquarters in Hazelwood,” Randall said.   “It is a two story 73,000 square foot building that features an entire floor dedicated to our drivers.”

“We have a fitness center, multiple training rooms, showers, laundry, a dog park, a barbeque patio area, a movie theater,” Randall said. “We also have an open seating area in a café style where they can comfortably wait and interact with each other.”

In addition to investing in their workforce to provide high-quality personalized service to customers, Artur Express has also invested in technology to better serve them. The company provides customers real-time transparent tracking of their cargo and custom reporting.

“What we offer for our customers as opposed to every other trucking company in America is technology,” Randall said. “We offer real-time, transparent data with everything available on our website, as well as 24/7 staff that can help answer any questions when their cargo is in transit.”

Despite the challenges presented by the pandemic, Artur Express has been able to continue to grow, hire and serve their large customer base over the last year.

“We are really well diversified across multiple industries,” Randall said. “We are in retail, grocery, manufacturing, packaging and consumer goods.”

“We remain on the leading edge of the transportation industry by using state of the art technology and personalized service that adapts to our individual customer’s needs,” Randall said. “Transportation is not only what we do, it is who we are.”
